King/Queen not coming

I have met the requirements for becoming the capital (produced goods, roads and gifts) for one or two years, but the queen is not coming :( I have checked before embarkement: my civilisation is not dead and there is a queen.

I made this massive throne room over a pool of magma, I want the Queen to move in!

Any idea?

Reaching the requirement doesn't just magically spawn nobles (thankfully), so you'll have a few more months of Dorfyness before they move in.

I have 250 dorfs, a Duke, about 60,000,000 of crafted goods, and it's getting boring.

I'll find a new mega project  :D

Remove the eyes of every Dorf in your fortress? Maybe the King's undercover wearing a rock pot on his head.

The 140 dwarf requirement (specifically, being a "Metropolis" in the 'z' status screen) is for "Becoming the Capital" to even appear at all.
