.38c weather + init

Im getting rain although weather is turned off in the init.

Did you exit the game and reload it after you changed the init file?  It won't check it in mid-game.

I noticed this as well (and yes, I did close Dwarf fortress and restart it).  I assumed it was because it's one of those init options that's only checked at world generation.

i did even switch weather on, wait for the rain to expire, exit the game and turn waether off once again.

The result was rain a few minutes later.

The option just turns off the expensive weather calculation.  This should keep the situation static, but in dwarf mode, it'll change the state after a while.  I'd have to poke around to figure out exactly what the behavior should be, but the weather option only shuts off the expensive routine.
