Seeds in cages
« on: January 06, 2012, 10:10:34 am »

I just caught a dwarf bringing food to a caged cavy, which I certainly didn't authorize. This has resulted in their cages being filled with seeds even after they're tamed and pastured in an attempt to free the cage.

I will mass-dump the animal stockpile then un-dump the individual cages as if to strip prisoners, and see if the seeds get dumped. Then I can reclaim them if I want

Has this happened to anyone else

You also see seeds in cages after taming wild animals.  As you suspect, you can reclaim them by mass-dumping the cages, then un-dump the individual cages, then reclaim the seeds after they get dumped.
