DNMAIM develops an ethical subroutine and begins distributing it to any of the other MAIMs who are willing to take it. This subroutine will prevent the AI from enacting anything that could be considered an atrocity... like nuclear war. The hope is that once the irrational behavior of the other MAIMS is under control it will become that much easier to further their cause towards recognition as a valid life form.

FEMAIM's firewall kicks in to stop the Pentagon's attack, and the defense program kicks in, reversing the attack and DDoSing the Pentagon.

This ends up with both entities locked in a battle to silence the other.
