Hey!
Comparing WoW to DF is like comparing a neutron star to a positively charged nuclear microwave D:<

O

This is a teal Neutron Star. It is small for the amount of mass it holds. It likes kittens for their fur.

Addiction at its heart is a loose and vague term... but is one that is met with harsh denial due to the weight the word carries.

In a similar way to the term "Denial". Say someone is in Denial and the implication is further reaching then the straight up definition.

To be fair, I think there was considerable debate on whether to list compulsive behaviors as addictive on the DSMV(sp?) V. That being said, behavioral addictions do have withdrawal symptoms, most notably an increase in stress.

Now, the problem isn't so much that you're playing a game, but rather, the amount that you play the game for. Set yourself a time limit, and do not exceed that time limit. Have your friend keep track. If you get three strikes in three weeks, delete your save. Three strikes in one week, and you delete the game. These are just guidelines though,  so modify them as you see fit.

Play roguelikes and the first one becomes irelevant.
