Player counts are rather low, usually, so I think we need the policy of "overbook and assume dropouts".  Last night it was just me and the host building a candycan tower to the heavens.

I was trying to get on, but to no avail. :| Is it still down? I've been sitting on my ass twiddling my thumbs writing lore for my Scifi novel for the last... 12 hours, since its been raining all day and I ruined my shoes.

Yes it goes up and down all the time. Given I'm in a bit of a hectic real life schedule I can't really give 100% uptime. I'm considering bargaining with dad for him to lend me his laptop as a 24/7 slave though.

If someone else wants to be the host I'm willing to transfer the world file. Being on a better connection (I'm on a 10Mbit ADSL atm) would help too.

Definitely want in on this. My friend, who has Terraria, is definitely an OCD player - he gets everything done as fast as possible, getting every weapon in the game.

It's not surprising that his home was a hole in the ground with a workbench, furnace, and anvil for the first 50 hours of his playthrough. And when he DID build a house, it was essentially a giant square filled with only the necessities.

He just can't appreciate great architecture.
