The Elves are... Surprisingly not mad at all at clear cut land???

As it states, I just clear cut my entire map (and trust me, there was ALOT), and the elves came. Me, I'm expecting them to be all like "YOU KILLED OUR TREES!" and they arrive and theyre perfectly fine... What gives?

just shot him with a balistic arrow, i think he will get stuned from that >.>

They only start demanding that you avoid cutting after you get a barony or something.

In the vanilla game, the elves will never send a diplomat to scold you about trees due to a bug.  To have them send a diplomat to lecture you about tree-cutting, you need to mod the entity raws to add the diplomat position to the elven entity.  This requires a world regen, it can't be done to an existing world.

Well thank frigging god then! If I knew that, I would've clear cut in my last few games where I ran out of wood in heartbeats (I didnt find magma at all until MUCH later, then got killed off by goblins with half my population left with broken limbs and 3 dwarves fine and one being my CMD who was a lazy ass)
