Bug in SHOW_FLOW_AMOUNTS? (Confirmation request)

I have switched over to client 38c finally with MikeMayday's tiles version 8.  Anyway.  I loaded up the client and the flow numbers (SHOW_FLOW_AMOUNTS) are not showing.  I restarted the client and it's fine now.  I've only had this happen once, so I can't tell you if it's a regular occurrence.

Has anyone else noticed that you cannot visibly see the depths?
