Newb here, help please: how do I equip a crutch, a shield AND a sword simultanously? My adventurer keeps putting 1 of the 3 into his backpack...

Use "r" to remove the one in your backpack and you'll hold it.

Use "r" to remove the one in your backpack and you'll hold it.

Don't worry about hand space when you do this by the way. Even if you're missing an arm you can carry all three in one hand and use them just fine. In fact IIRC you can carry as much as you want in a single hand.

Well that's no Fun. But from what I've seen I've blocked two separate attacks with two different shields, so I can say with certainty that both shields can be used, though I'm not sure if it adds more chances to block. I wouldn't be suprised though, it's not as strange as a well rope being able to stretch an infinite number of vertical tiles yet only 1 horizontally when used as a restraint.

I am quite sure they each have their own roll.
