Formerly of a completely separate mercenary group named Black Wolf Forces, you have split off to form your own. Unfortunately, no-one else agreed with you and you don't have much help apart from your loyal secretary Sarah. You have a Tavor, a civilian M1911 pistol and $500. Unfortunately, due to your office renting conditions, you need about $500 at the end of the month for the landlord. You would shoot him, but that won't work since you are no longer part of Black Wolf and are not above the law. You have 31 days to go before the rent comes in, and if you don't have the money, you are kicked out. Since you also sleep here, that's a big problem.
Good news, however. There are three job offers, each with varying problems and bonuses.
Job Offer Number One: Derail a train for a group named The Signal. They are going to pay you a base of 200, with bonuses if you cause more terror while doing it, with the possibility of earning $1,000. Sarah informs you that it's risky because you might not be able to cause terror on the way because it takes more effort to be terrifying, but it's always a good idea to go for the one with the best pay.
Job Offer Number Two: Guard a celebrity. $200. You note that it probably isn't going to be very interesting, but it's guaranteed pay. Approximately a quarter of what you need in fact. The celebrity might also be an asshole, though.
Job Offer Number Three: Kidnap someone. $600. The person is guarded, and it is quite risky. Sarah thinks that it's morally ambiguous and dangerous but it'll pay the rent and leave some for personal needs, so it's a lot less effort then the first one but less safe then the second or first one, in fact. At least train conductors don't have guns.
