I have a problem with mechanisms and drawbridges. Whenever I try and link up a lever to a drawbridge, it says I need more mechanisms. I've done what the Guide says and placed a lever in the meeting area. What am I doing wrong?

You need 3 mechanisms. 1 to build the lever, then 2 to link between the lever and the drawbridge.

Don't question how it works, if anyone asks, it was quantum entanglement.

The first mechsnism asked for goes in the bridge (or whatever) and the second in the lever. This is useful to remember if you're working with magma and need things to be magma-safe.

The game also tells you this -- it marks the first mechanism as 'use in target' and the second as 'use in lever'.

I am trying to make chickens lay bees as eggs. So far it only produces a single "Tame Small Creature" when a hen lays bees.
Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.
