Although from 1997, this is still maybe the most fascinating space game, IMO. The best discussion I was able to gather on the NET about this game is in this forum, originally posted by darius:

I have both the russian and the english version of Parkan and managed to run them both in Win 7 without problems, but NO videos will play in the english version.

- Has anyone succeeded to play the videos in the english version?
- I think there wasn't ever any PDF manual shipped together with the english version, is this correct?

Also, I've gathered some good infos about Parkan 2, which I feel however a "ripped-down" of the original, although it has better grafics, but it's boringly repetitive...
