how am i supposed to set a profile picture? i went through everything just fine, copied from an url aaaannd....nothing
i copied it from the site i got it from again and nothing again
what is going on here? my avatar isnt showing up at all for any reason? and i didnt know where to put this so im asking in the how-to section. kind of relevant i guess?

A lot of sites don't allow hot-linking; if you use a site like that to host your picture, the site will detect that the IP address of your computer didn't recently request a page that has that image on it, and either return nothing for the picture, or sometimes a "hot linking not allowed" picture instead of the real picture.

I'm guessing you found a site that allows hot-linking already, since I see you have a profile picture now.
