Going from "wikipedia is dull to read" to "age has killed my curiosity" is a bit of a jump, don't you think?

It's supposed to be an encyclopedia, not tvtropes.

Anyhow, tl;dr it's fascinating stuff about how our reality isn't "real", it's just filled with constructed symbolized meanings aka simulacra in societal interactions.

From what the article says, it is more that our symbols now merely refer to other symbols as opposed to reality.

Consider: I wouldn't read Wikipedia for fun... I would read a dictionary.

I wouldn't read a dictionary for fun... I would read the telephone guide.

I.. I actually do read Wikipedia for fun sometimes  :-X
Although it usually to find an excuse to add yet another country to EU3.
