Yeah, I don't see why you'd have to shave at the beginning of the month. I'll try it for a week to check how patchy my facial hair still is before I make a final decision.

I don't shave frequently anyway, plus freelancing gives me the luxury of not requiring being clean shaven. I can do this. Been going on since half-last month (cleanup trim more like, for comfort and balance; one side grew quicker/sooner than the other).

I've got a good George Harrison form in the making. Got the face for it.

I only shave every month because my half-dozen brown hairs become noticeable if I let them go any longer.

Gog help you if one of your immediate superiors is an ex-marine who outweighs you by a good 200lb like mine was, because you will shave your scraggly-ass facial hair. To be fair, I would have done it anyways, because nobody likes looking at a neckbeard when they're paying to have a good time. The downside? The racist old ladies refusing to let one of my co-workers check their bags before boarding, and then turning to me while saying "Oh, I'll let her do it."  ::)


But once you're in uni noone gives a crap, because pretty much every major has an excuse for shoddy facial hair.  :P

I will attempt to do this, but being 19, and still full of hormones, my facial hair is freaking out. Seems when all is said and one, I could have a pretty good beard and stache going on. As it stands, I am growing black and blonde hair, not fuzz either, grows inches long before I shave it due to scraggly neck beard.

 I'll trim off neck hairs and the individualist hairs of the cheeks, but everything else is continuing the jaw-mane.

My continued employment at my (almost) minimum wage job requires that I either be clean shaven or have one of a few select facial hair styles, with no hair longer than half an inch.

Where I hear about this, it's called Movember, and it's about raising money for male prostate cancer.

I had to shave my beard for my halloween costume (Waldo from Where's Waldo?), and I need it back, so I'm definitely game for this. I'll probably shave my neck if it gets itchy though.
