Ah, life was good in Ustanlorbam. The Immortal Convienent Nation built fortress upon fortress along The Swamp of Combat, taking the goblins from the north all for themselves. All they had to worry in the Halls was the occasional elf or two, but these were dispatched with ease. Oh, these were the days...
In the midwinter of 254, Urist, by trade a lye maker and a legendary liar, was sent by the high council of The Abyssal Fountains to assist their human allies in the assault on the forest retreat of Basindeserts. She was greeted as a hero who would lead the army to glory, her retinue of twelve elite guards - legends in their own name - making the men worship her skill as much as one would worship a deity.
Oh, how wrong they were.
Of 457 iron and bronze clad warriors one would expect that a mere 479 unprepared elves would be an easy task. Yet if not for the timely intervention of Pan Quickdate, a man who later became the law-giver of his civilization, the 210 lives already lost would be in vain. In the end, the elves were dead and the retreat was burned down, and Urist made a quick retreat home hoping she could fix this somehow. She could just tell another lie and somehow make it work. In the autumn of 255, just after her return, two surviving members of her retinue have passed on a message about the happenings.
And so, Urist had been exiled. If not for Seltsen, a friend from the Royal Guard, her tale would end right here, sentenced to 244 strokes of a silver warhammer.
By ancient rite, she was allowed to take supplies in value of 1379 plump helmet spawns for her journey and six others to accompany her in "founding a new outpost". Yet her reputation was shattered, and nobody dared follow the Council's orders even under the threat of death, knowing that the hammerer will make it swift and relatively painless compared to the horrors awaiting in the lands.
The question is,
what did she take with herself, and where? Remember that she is the dwarf who already went down in legends for her ability to doublecross anyone and anything, so the supplies are only limited by her imagination. Beyond that, there's Selsten who can make it out with a few bits and pieces. And then - where shall she go with them?

First of all, I hope the intro isn't all that horrible.
And about the game itself - I'll use dfusion to make a hermit fortress that will be entirely community driven - all Urist does, beyond the initial "make a hole to stay in and move supplies there" that will be in the first real update. Don't expect much fluff like right above, though, it was a hard time to write something halfway decent. I'll generally ask you folks for votes if there's any major decision, but if there's a tie, expect me to break it up with a coinflip. The rest will be "let's do everything on the list, top to bottom, and then post what happened" stuff. Just don't make me do 20 year worth of megaprojects in a row or something silly will happen.
Playing 31.25 unmodded. Any questions - just post them, I'll add revelant sections to this spoiler.
