Plus, I don't think "To take advantage of the magma supply and prevent goblin attacks" is a proper reason to build it on Iceland...

A bit too far from the equator, and may need Revealing.

Erta Ale is 'only' 13 degrees north, and is an exposed Lava Tube.  How 'bout there?


(Anyway, I think my highschool/college/university physics is sound, as far as it goes, but some of the purer maths and reading-my-own-handwriting[1] are the things that definitely need attention. :) )

[1] Of the "hastily scribbled down while in a boring meeting" kind, especially!
