.33g - Moody Dwarves and Slated Workshops
« on: January 02, 2008, 05:18:00 am »

Perhaps this has been reported already, I looked a little and didn't find anything, but dwarves that go into a mood can randomly select workshops that are slated for removal long before the mood strikes. If you don't manage to cancel the removal in time (which I didn't, as it was only a split second away by the time I figured out where he was going) the moody dwarf goes to the spot where the workshop was and wont go to another workshop even if you construct another of the same type. He just stands until he (presumably, it hasn't happened yet) goes mad.

Of course, it's a hell of a coincidence to have a mood strike you with that timing  at all, but that's my luck for you.

If you construct the new one under him it should work.  There was a bug back in 33a I think where if the shop didn't exist at all they wouldn't budge, but if you built under them they'd claim it.

This is Bug 628.  I'll take care of it at some point.
