Amish men assault other Amish men by shaving their hair and beards

This has to be one of the oddest stories I stumbled upon.

Five Amish men are being charged with aggravated burglary and kidnapping for breaking into other people's homes and giving them a hair cut. Even better, the name of their family? Mullet. The bail for their release is set at 50,000 dollars.

Who says nothing happens in Ohio?

We actually see a lot of Amish around Wallmart. Don't ask me why.

I'm failing to see how this counts as pacifism on the part of the hair cutters. I guess it was a very obtuse interpretation of pacifism?

It's technically non-violent, so it's pacifism. Most pacifists would still look down on it, for no other reason than it's obviously a dick move regardless of ideology.

Also, Mullet? I'm pretty sure one of my college profs is related to that clan.

The only questionable part, pacifism-wise, is holding them down. If they had instead broke in in the dead of night and shaved them bald without waking them then they would be totally in the clear.
