The Adventures of Urist Bloodbath the God of Doom
« on: October 08, 2011, 08:22:58 pm »

Our grand hero Urist Bloodbath set out on his adventure from the sleepy hamlet of Ceroartha (Clutchspine) on grand adventures seeking fame, fortune and ultimately power beyond any mortal's dreams. His first quest was given by a human suturer who was far too insignificant to name in this glorious tome of history. Urist set out to find this grand outlaw called Getak Tellflag the Mighty Hammerman. He swore to himself to save these honest folk from this evil band of outlaws.
He tracked their camp far across the savannas to find these vile fiends and slay them in a most glorious fashion. He journeyed out, sweaty and stinking of dwarven ale. He eventually found the outlaw's camp, a small pitiful thing, with a few lashers, a crossbowman, and his target, Getak Tellflag.
He joined GLORIOUS battle with all three henchmen. In the first few rows he had already split the Lasher's spine through the middle, disabling him.
For some reason Urist thought it was a good idea to disregard his mighty two handed axe that he was a High Master in. He swiftly bit the Lasher's hand, proceeding to rip it off in a brutal fashion. He swiftly moved on, letting the pitiful mess of a human bleed out. he swiftly dispatched the others in similarly gruesome ways, before beheading his sworn enemy Getak. He let out a bloodlust roar, suffering only a few minor flesh wounds from the encounter.
He started back towards civilization lest the bogeymen get him now that night was fast approaching. Thankfully he arrived in another small hamlet before they caught up with him and ended his adventures prematurely. He quickly spread the word of his success, although it surprised him how he only had to tell one villager then everyone knew about it seemingly within seconds of him telling the first one. Strange lands these are, he thought to himself.

Our mighty Warrior God Urist went on for many weeks like this, slaying seemingly endless outlaws before quickly retreating lest the creatures of the night feast on his bones. Some peasants suggested he should enlist others to adventure with him, so he did.
