You are a single cell
« on: September 28, 2011, 05:36:06 pm »

You are a molecule of DNA, surrounded by various proteins, capable of replicating yourself independently, and thus would be termed "life", if there was any sentience around to name you. You are currently in contact with salt water , another cell of your species and unidentified organic chemicals. Current light level is bright orange
(WARNING: I'm going to be putting play ahead of scientific accuracy)

Well, you do have a busy life, what with keeping tabs on wild, rough-and-tumble forum members while sorting out the drama between your twenty two inner lesbians.
Your drunk posts continue to baffle me.

You have discovered Oxygen. Unfortunately, that comes with some free radicals. You notice that you begin to metabolise some of the glucose in your cytoplasm. A few moments later, a new ribosome is created.

You attempt to attack the other cell, but you merely bounce against its cell wall to no effect.

Cell Inventory:
      Phospholipid Bilayer
      thin cell wall
      loose ribosomes
      loose DNA

Use ribosomes to produce the proteins necessary for a a cytoskeleton.

(Also, don't you mean cell membrane instead of cell wall?)

no, I mean cell wall. the plasma membrane is a layer below that of the cell wall

You try to synthesize proteins, but notice you have no extra amino acids.
