I get that you want a girlfriend, or that you love this girl. I get it. Thing is, she's your age, and that means she is probably not going to take you seriously. Girls that young all want an older guy, that's just the way it is. Once they're 24+, then they don't care about that as much. When you're older, it will be so different you will wonder why you wasted your time now. Just enjoy being younger, play games, learn useless and/or random stuff!
In my experience, this has been true. Once I hit 20, suddenly dating girls my own age was easier. I'm 29 now, and am married to the kindest, most beautiful woman I've ever seen. And now we have a baby boy, and things are really just so awesome that every day I am grateful, and paranoid that I'm really in a coma, and this is all in my head.
I had a 18 years old girlfriend when I was 17 years old. But yeah,
most girls like older guys. This probably has a connection with my "girls younger than 20 tend to like bad guy stereotype" hypothesis.

Stuff I've learned so far:
Relationships at 13 last a few months at most.
Wait until 17-18 before trying to get a girlfriend, as then you actually know that you like them and not the crapton of chemicals in your brain that are constantly yelling "Sex! Seeexxxx!". Once putberty's done and you arn't a walking sack of drugs, then try.
Don't come out and say that you like them, that ends in laughing and people seeing you as a creep.

I had some really good advice from a guy I worked with when I was 16. I was a geek, working in a computer store building new systems and handling repairs.

When you think you are attracted to a girl, imagine her ugly. If you like a girl just because of her physical appearance, you are heading for the most unstable kind of relationship.
