Issue with getting started on a mac

When I click on "df" it goes to terminal and gives me the following lines:

Has anyone else had this problem? Also, please no "hurrr use a pc lawl" responses.

Since I see it's still in your Downloads folder, I'd unzip it and move it to your applications folder, and see if that makes it work.

No, that's not it. I tried moving it, and the same message came up. The download folder is just an arbitrary folder, so there shouldn't be anything different between it and the applications folder.

Are you using Lion? Apple did update the version of X11 bundled with Lion, so it's possible that something's broken in the way that DF accesses X11...I'm having no problems myself on 10.5.

What do you get from opening Applications/Utilities/Terminal and entering:
ls /usr/

ls /usr/X11R6/lib | grep libfreetype

and

ls /usr/X11/lib | grep libfreetype
