YES! I thought up of extremely unique critters. Would "magical" creatures be allowed? As in creatures that would'nt survive without having magic as part of itself.

Well it's Tuesday, and I'm a bit worried about this game's future.

To be honest, I'm considering finishing up this age, and finalizing the map. The problem is, I had planned to have animals go away from being as map dependent. Now however I'm not feeling the drive to keep this going at the update rate I had.

Even if I do end up shutting down at the end of this age. What we have created here is pretty impressive. Others could take the map and roll with it for numerous games. Or the rules could be taken and a new game started.

If I do go ahead with the animal age, this will turn into something more like freeform roleplay or communal writing. And I'm not a big fan of how little structure those type of forum games have. So I'm just not sure as yet how I will go forward with this.

I think you can make it work.

I was seeing we each choose an animal that gains sentience, and then "help" them as they grow and evolve.
(I've been helping keep this alive, I have no wish to see it die now.)
