The opening part of the game is actually my favourite since you have the most tactical options and its the least calculated more felt part of the game.

So Toady plays Go too, that's pretty cool. I've been playing on and off for a bit over ten years, combining long breaks with short spurs of intense playing. I think the best rank I had was 3 dan at KGS, but I mostly sawed between 1 and 2 dan. I checked from the archives and the last game I played was six months ago. Maybe it's time to try and get back into playing again...
