Okay, it's not a huge bug, but you can construct buildings (or at least a carpenter's workshop) using ashes and that just doesn't seem reasonable.

Similarly you can build with charcoal.

Brought some on my initial build and it was given as an alternative for building.

I love building with rock salt (notably, it's been the only building material I've had for two or three maps, so....)

Mmm....rock salt....you can just taste the walls...and feel the sting of the floor in your wounds...
