Question regarding modding in a workshop and some furnaces
« on: August 30, 2011, 03:05:59 pm »

After hunting around my DF folder, I've only been able to find a couple added workshops, the soapmaker and screw press. Does anyone know where I can find the other buildings? Specifically, the furnaces, forges, and machines (screw press, etc)? I'm trying to design a smelter which uses power instead of fuel or magma, and have nothing to go off of.

All of the other buildings are hardcoded - there are no raws for them. Also, it is currently impossible for custom buildings to make use of machine power.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

For a new modder like Lloyien, these answers were probably like a solid kick the the beard.

Well, that's a shame. Maybe Toady'll get around to making it possible sometime.

Thank you both for the quick responses.
