Hmm, thought the update was coming soonish, it's all gone quiet
Don't worry almost completed the update, it should make the mod roughly playable, sorting out crashes at the moment due to adamantine

Really weird idea I must say, and I like it.

You simplified the game quite nicely (if it doesn't crash :P), but the addition of different "flavors" of adamantine is... really strange and unusual. Especially adamantine brewing, I don't think I saw it anywhere :P.

I totally dig the bottom cavern being alien. If you read my thread, I am currently remaking creature populations to make evil areas more alien-looking, and I will work on separating creatures by difficulty in relation to the depth of the caverns, as well as adding more rewarding plants on the bottom level (and even in hell), so I go for the same flavor :).

Let's see what else can you make to amuse us (seriously, adamantine DRINK?). :D :D :D

I have approval!  :D Well at the moment simplifying the game doesn't crash it though the error log is full of stuff like "hey, dude magma crab's are made of gabbro and there kinda isn't any gabbro..." I've not actually bumbed into entities like that yet because most of the testing is in and out rather than sticking around in game so not sure what would happen, there was once a crash which has now been fixed (it appeared and was also resolved mid-way between the releases) and a few bugs like when it decided every layer was randomly going to be made out of a massive ruby "cluster" or the glitches I mentioned in the embark thing but they are also now fixed, and don't worry I've got a whole crap-load of stuff planned to go along with drinking adamantine.
