Bachelor party coming up, advice appreciated
« on: August 28, 2011, 11:23:40 pm »

What should I do for it? I don't know. None of my friends know either.

The current plan is to go bowling, get drunk, and then play games at my brothers apartment while getting more drunk or maybe dipping into some other recreational substances.

Issues in play:
I don't get the concept of strippers and am not really interested.
Best Man/Brother is underage

So, what are some good ideas of stuff we can do to liven it up a bit and make it feel more bachelor partyish and less birthday partyish.

Piñatas are always fun, and you can make them shaped like whatever you like. Paper maché works for construction. Symbolism, I guess. Although it might seem birthday-partyish.

Mine.

Also, Pinata's sound like a great idea. Feeling more festive already!

Who needs ole' regular strippers when you can get Vegas strippers!

I understand how you are having difficulties thinking of ideas considering booze, strippers, and general debauchery are staples of a great number of bachelor parties.

I was actually an underage best man when my brother had his wedding. Before the booze and strippers to which I could not attend, we played floor hockey with just a bunch of his friends for several hours and had dinner afterwards. Bowling is a fine idea and if you can manage to make a drinking game out of it and get the cosmic bowling effects even cooler.

Or you can just throw a general feel good party complete with music and good times and just put the label of a bachelor party on it. Not like it matters a whole lot. Just focus on having fun really no matter what you do. The label doesn't really have to mean that much.

Bachelor party without a stripper is like a wedding without wedding cake. Sure, maybe you don't actually like cake, but it's a tradition so you have to have one.

My brother and his buddies went pendulum jumping off a bridge, at night. They got busted by the cops.

You could always do whatever you want, since it is your bachelors party. A big DF party, getting your friends who normally wouldn't try it, into playing?

Convince a female friend to come to the party wearing a costume and bringing a paint roller. Have a painted sheet of wood ready outside. Break out the paint stripper.

Or a male friend in a speedo, depending on the sense of humor your friends have.

Nothing the bride will love more than the groom inviting one of the family friends to be a stripper at the bachelor party.

That depends on what the bride is into.

But I believe the idea was that she would roll paint onto the guys who would then roll around on the sheet of wood.
