Incapacitated Dwarf

There is a dwarf which just wont wake up in my hospital, he has been there for a year unconscious. All he has hurt is his right hand and left upper leg as yellow along with some sensory nerve damage. What do I have to do to get him working again?

He might have healed before he could be diagnosed, try hurting him again so that your doctor has something to do.

So just send a peasant to hit him a bit? He is a soldier decked out in armor, i dunno how it will work out...

Nope, you have to get... Creative. Injured Dwarves are ignored by enemies, and I think, invulnerable to magma and water. Best way to do this is to cave in one tile far enough away that he won't be badly injured, but that the dust will shake him up a little.

removing his bed got him up actually, good thing I didnt collapse part of the roof of my hospital XD

1: Enemies always kill your dwarves.
2: Magma always kills your dwarves - you're full of crap.
3: He probably didn't heal too quickly, he just healed and didn't remember to get up.  Removing the bed has long understood been to be a vital part of dwarven healthcare.
