Wild Animals as Lookouts
« on: October 31, 2007, 10:28:00 pm »

I do not know if this is a bug, but some mountain goats have spotted and warned me of a skulking kobold. Nobody else is anywhere even close and the kobold is right next to a couple of mountain goats.

Is one of your dwarves an Elven druid in disguise?

Does everyone understand the difference now?

Heh, a kobold guard has warned me about goblins skulking around in the area.  Its nice to know they don't want my stuff (and children) stolen.  I just wish they'd stop shooting at my dwarves.

I always imagined it as the kobold (or whatever) either getting startled by the animal, or being forced to run from it, or the animal being startled running from the kobold - in any case your lookouts know something is there (your lookouts being the abstracted reason you can see the whole map at once).

Thieves... I dunno. Maybe they are wanted by the other kobolds too? ha.
