I'm thinking about using water based traps.... using flow to flood it into a caged area. Is it possible for titans to drown? Well, FB actually. I'm frightened shitless about FBs, as the caverns make crossbows almost useless.
AfaIk, most can swim. :P

how would you go about building it with just a support holding it up?

300 human/elf/dwarf/goblin/kobold bodies 20 random animal/fish/bird bodies and 3 dragon bodies all in one backpack. fun stuff.

well for it to be a bridge wouldnt it have to be connected on both sides, therefore removing the need for the support in the first place cus it would do nothing cus the sides were holding it up?

Construct a floor over a gap.  Build a support under the floor.  Channel out the ground at the ends of the floor over the gap so that the floor is no longer supported by anything but the support.  Then build bridges at the ends to allow access onto the trapped sections of floor, since bridges don't support floors.  Like so:

Code: [Select]
+            +
+b++++++++++b+
+            +

where you have solid ground on the ends, a length of floor in the middle supported only by the support, and single-tile bridges to let creatures cross.  Then you just have to trigger the collapse at just the right moment.
