40d Editing Help
« on: August 21, 2011, 11:00:35 am »

I want to make it so my forge requires no fuel to make furniture from bars, can anyone let me know where the forge raw data is located and how I should go about editing it?

I'm playing 40d and already have my bars modded to be smelted from nothing, just realized I never bothered modding the raws for the forge. :p

Thanks in advance!

You can't mod that sort of thing - it's all hardcoded.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Ah, that would explain why I can't find it.

My temporary fix is to mod bit. coal to make coke from nothing.

But thank you, i guess that's the route i'll have to go. :\

I'm fairly sure you'd have to do something to each and every reaction dealing with the furniture.

Ah, my dwarven heart beats with fierce pride for this.  I can't take it anymore!  I have to go do something profound.
