Help finding a volcano in a haunted glacier?
« on: August 12, 2011, 09:51:13 pm »

Anyone have advice on generating a world with one of these? I'm starting up a succession fort on another forum and the general consensus is that we want to have Fun.

You could gen a world with a crap ton of volcanoes.  Statistically, you'll probably get a couple in places you like.

If you want a large selection, try increasing the "Evil Square Count in ..." parameters as high as you think they will go. Set the "good" regions to 0. Increase volcano number to at least a couple dozen, depending on world size. I'm not sure how exactly to gen the whole world as "freezing and/or glacier but I am 95% sure you can do it with the custom parameters. You might also want to increase FB/Titan numbers via the parameters, to make things more Fun.

You know, I just remembered the Perfect World utility.  I haven't heard anything about it in awhile...I think it should still work, though I haven't tried it in a long time.
