I've just uploaded the first part of my LP, dealing with everything running up to actually playing the actual game. If you want to follow along or something, that's great; requests for Dorfing and such will be honored to the best of my ability. I'll also try to put in a plug for the forums occasionally, although I'm not sure my non-existant internet celebrity will help much.

I'm not a good player so I'd beg and plead for advice or suggestions about where to go with this.

Embarking in a calm area is not always a good idea, TRUST ME. I recommend embarking on a normal part of a small island, make sure it doesn't have an aquifer, or you'll have plenty of helpings of FUN.
