They gave me Crusader Kings and Deus Vult because I subscribed to some Paradox monthly news thingy (that I forgot about a long time ago). Not a bad deal, I've been wanting to play this game for a while.

To put it simply, Dwarf Fortress is the Black Metal of video games.

btw at some other thread, a while ago, someone mentioned a site that can compare prices between different digital game distribution platforms, anyone remember that?

You mean the scrolling unreadable text is actually supposed to be readable?

Try pressing Ctrl and + together.

Then press Ctrl, alt and the down arrow all together.

Note that Gamersgate is owned by a publisher (Paradox) - and frankly it doesn't REALLY cost them anything but bandwidth to get you their games - so they don't NEED to show you the full retail price of the game in ads - they just need to give you enough ads to make it worth their while - bandwidth + a bit extra. Anything above the cost of bandwidth is profit they wouldn't normally get unless somebody paid full price for their game.
Gamersgate hasn't been owned by paradox for a while, actually. I'm pretty certain it split a while back.

Still owned by the same people who own Paradox, just split into a separate company under same management.

Google Adwords seem to charge advertisers around £0.01 per click.  Assusming that is standard, I would need to start up each individual game 4000 times for GG to make their £40.  That's not gonna happen.
My company pays upwards of 40-70 cents per click on some of their Google ads. No to mention a passive text link is an entirely different story than a visual ad.
As such...
Assusming that is standard
is a poor assumption.
