So my companions and I found a dragons's lair. The dragon was apparently "gigantic but very weak" so we killed it no problem. Now I have these eggs. Can I hatch them? How would I do that? And if I can't hatch them, what do I do with them? Thanks!

To my knowledge, eggs can't hatch in adventure mode. But I just throw any eggs I find at goblins...

On one of my "kill every megabeast and titan" saves I collected all the eggs I could find, and after I finished them all off, I went out into middle of the ocean and dropped all of the eggs.

Magma works better. Get yourself a volcano. If you wade into a shallow area, you'll only suffer "minor melting!"

You can't hatch them unfortunately. Even if you were to take them as an adventurer, drop them somewhere, embark on that location with a fortress, find the eggs, put them in a box and catch a female dragon. One day, perhaps.
