mist generators near bedrooms.
« on: July 26, 2011, 05:37:35 am »

a few questions

1. do screw pumps still make noise?
1B if so how much?

Im assuming sleeping ion constant mist would out weigh the bad moods from the noise but
2. would the lack of sleep have other significant impacts?

I remember reading tiredness was a factor in the ration of quality's of crafts ect  produced

1: Not sure, but
1B: the wiki says "It has been claimed that most other jobs cause noise within 2-4 tiles. More research is necessary to determine the specifics.
An operating water wheel causes noise within at least 3 tiles." I left the waterwheel as I thought it may/may not be relevant.

2: The wiki makes no mention of it.

I'm not entirely sure but I don't think thoughts, happy or otherwise, stack. So if they see a waterfall once in a given amount of time it won't benefit them to see another one soon after. So it's probably more efficient to keep a waterfall in your dining hall or some other public location.
