Moods and assigned workshops bug?
« on: June 23, 2007, 06:39:00 pm »

I've had two crafts-dwarves enter a strange mood and then not claim a workshop recently.

I think it may be because I have, for the first time, assigned one of my three crafts workshops to a specific dwarf.  The idea was that only my legendary wood crafter should be allowed there to make the best quality goods for trade.

Anyway, having even one workshop (of the type maybe) SEEMS to be interrupting the process a moody dwarf wants to go through.  I deassigned the workshop in the hopes of kick-starting the dwarf into action second time around time, but it's not had any effect.

A .sav is available if this is an unreported bug (couldn't see anything on the list).

Were the dwarves looking for a crafts workshop?   It depends on their highest skill, and craftsdwarves utilize a few different places.  Mood dwarves don't respect workshop profiles.

I can definitely confirm that moody dwarves take assigned workshops. The bastards keep stealing my assistant craftsdwarf's workshop (It used to be the master craftsdwarf's workshop, but I swapped them at one point since I wanted him to keep working).
