Where are the beard shapings?

I have tried looking through the raws, but didn't find the beard styles anywhere. The STANDARD_BEARD_SHAPINGS is as far as I got, but what exactly those styles are (braided, straight, combed...) dont turn up anywhere.

In addition, would it be possible to create more visual details, like large/wrinkly hands and such?

All of the various hair/beard/moustache/sideburns shapings are hardcoded.

I'm pretty sure that Genesis adds several hair styles, so I'm not entirely certain that it actually is hardcoded. Or at least, insofar as I can recall.
Granted, Genesis (and any other mods that do that) might be using descriptors, which is a little bit of a work-around. The best example I can give of how to add detail with descriptors can be found in the NSFW Foocubi mod. Bare in mind that the descriptors themselves can get pretty vulgar since they're meant to describe genitalia in an erotic fashion (though there's nothing arousing about the male genitalia descriptors, but that's neither here nor there)
You might also ask Deon or Tomitapio how they did it.

If all else fails check the string dump and do some experimenting using the arena. The related tokens I could find:
