yes i know how tasking modding can be i am familure with the process...

what i meant was the last update of DF that changed the core gameplay not every update most updates the game carries over... mind you i may have snapped a little in my frustration to not have to make one myself to have what im craving

You're going to be waiting awhile...  The last version it worked with was the 40d which was replaced by the new 0.31 line back in April.  The original author hasn't been around since last December.  So the chances of getting the potentially massive raw changes necessary to move from 40d to 0.31 aren't likely to happen.

In other words, try a different mod.  If you want Zombies, a good bet is Deon's Wasteland mod mentioned earlier.

One major difficulty is going to be creating the zombie creature itself. with all the new tissue layers and such, are there no bleed tags or is it possible to give them solid blood without killing them? Once the creature is made the rest is mostly vanilla Umans with modded equip lists. I know thats harder to do then I made it sound but the new creature raws still puzzle me to no end.

This mod is for 40d, and won't work on 31.xx

Corrosion is an equivalent designed for 31.xx. To bad, I was hoping for a new zombie total conversion. It'd be nice to exchange ideas.

No, no, I know that. I was going to try and run it in 40d.

But it doesn't work, and I don't know how to make it work.
