Alright.

How can I have them usually at war (not just --------) and slowly advancing across all the land in most cases?

Also also, is there really no way to syndromize melee attacks?
Also also also, how do you syndromize ranged attacks?

Also also also also, what kinds of psychic attacks do zoanthropes have?

Also also also also also, how can I make it likely for one caste to attain a certain high nobility rank?

For melee syndromes injecting like a lot of regular creatures can works. Don't know about range, may have to use gas or dust, since they do work for forgotten beasts. Zoanthropes, in the 4th edition codex, can have synapse, catalyst (helps allies in melee- when positive syndromes are introduced it will be easily possible- remember to make sure it only affects 'nids though!), the horror that makes enemies scared to charge them, probably not possible, same for psychic scream that reduces enemy morale. Warp field as standard, makes them heavily armoured. Warp blast is standard blasty power. Tyrants can also take psychic powers, but I don't think you need to worry as their powers aren't too important other than synapse and they are powerful already.

Hey, hey, wait, warriors, carnifexes, tyrants and raveners can have a stinger with poison for melee too :P

Couldn't synapse be modeled by making synapse-dependent tyranids unintelligent, possibly pets?

That might work. Make them fearless and frenzied, though.


Especially because hormagaunts can lay eggs.
