Hello all, I've lurked for a long time in the forums since a friend introduced me to the game many years ago and I have finally gotten to the stage I feel comfortable doing some videos for it.  I have been a gaming commentator for nearly 10 years but never once thought to try a Let's Play series but I'm having fun with this one, albeit an easy embark and more of a new player guidance than a hard core frozen wastelands embark!

Already liking the idea. Haven't had a true game commentator make a tutorial video, probably is more noob friendly.

I might redo the Tutorials a bit, some are ok but others wander off the subject a little too much.  Maybe just make short ones based off exactly what magmawiki says, like Textile Industry then explain it or something.

I think you should try to make an adventure mode tutorial. I haven't seen any on youtube ane I have trouble with it.

How on earth did you get fraps to work with DF? But these videos are awesome, I've been playing for half a year now and im still learning a few things, plus a bunch of things i never really knew with the new version.

If I recall it is PRINT_MODE:STANDARD? in the Init File needs setting and fraps will recognise it.  I believe default is 2d?

I saw episode 14.

Marksmen have this sort of issue where if they run out of ammo, they'll just run and bash the enemy with their empty crossbows. This forum thread is worth a read to help: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=85688.0

Personally I have never had trouble with marks dwarves by following this golden rule.

Station them, don't tell them to attack. I've also noted that they still reload like normal unlike what you said in the topic, Patchouli.
