EU III Expense Screen Crash?

Ok, I am playing EU III. I check my income per month, and I find out that the amount of money I gain (Or rather, lose) per month is... less the satisfactory. So naturally, I want to see where the gaint black hole that sucks up all my money per month is. I go to National Statistics, start move the slider to expenses, and a little while before I get there, boom, the game crashes. I am currently playing the Heir to the Throne Expansion, because I am too lazy to get Divine Wind.

And speaking of crashing, whenever I play too long into the game, it crashs automaticly. Luckly, I set auto-save to monthly, and its normally only happens every time I play for like, 4 hours, so thats not too much of a priority at the moment.

Can someone please tell me what is happening?

I don't follow about the whole slider business. If you mean you're flipping through the pages in the logbook, then yes, there's one that will crash your game, yes it will do it every time and yes DW will fix it.

Also, the expansions will let you port your saves from the last expansion?

From what I've heard, the expansions after EU3: Complete ruin the game, so there's no point in wasting money on them.

(On that advice, I got EU3: Complete and saved my money. I haven't had any crashes, aside from alt-tabbing while the game was starting, but I did get conquered by France. Eep.)

Saves from HttT to DW will port, but not well. There's new provinces that won't be colonised, lots of stuff borked etc. Better to start again.
