So I noticed during one of my many ill fated adventures that sometimes bandit bosses have different names. (Warlord, Boss, Master, etc) and I was wondering if this had any affect on the skill level of the bosses.(and mortality rate of the adventurer)

i'm not 100% on this, but i think it is thier position in their civ (being the bandit band)

you'll note that goblins have "warlords" and "masters" as well.  i've also seen a demon master of a human civ.

it might though, i'm not certain.

The "rankings" for bandits do involve generally 2 things, from my observations:

1. The amount of fellow bandits you have to deal with.
2. Actual skill level.

Warlord, as far as I know, is the strongest of all the titles.

scars,nicknames and a kill list are the top ways to Judge there skill.
there gear can change how hard a fight it will be.
