Just take responsibility for this one, and if it gets to be a trainwreck, Toady would be looking to you to message him to lock it down. (Since you didn't start it, you don't have the thread rights to lock it yourself.) Not that it would stop him from locking it due to other people's reports but...yeah. Every thread needs an owner to say when it's not serving its purpose anymore.

Or just ask him to lock it and start your own, brand new shiny Haz II thread. My old thread is a little mouldy.
