Soap problem

Hello!
I hunted some animals, and render fat. I have a lot of tallow, so i want create soap. And... Nobody want create it. I even create order by (j)(m)(q) "Create Soap from tallow" and it don't work too. I have soap maker workshop and every dwarf have "Soap Maker" on. I have 80 dwarfs and nobody want give me soap bars! Argh... What i doing wrong? I need pots or something?

Do you have lye? You need a bucket, a barrel, ashery, and a bit of wood, turn wood to ash, and make lye from it.

It will, but you need lye.
