Perfect Autonomous Dwarves

The no eat, no drink, etc. tags are all well and good, but is there a way to make dwarves explode upon death?

Create an inorganic which combusts upon contact with open air.
Make it so that when they die, a boulder of said inorganic is their death item.

Excellent! Now I just need to replace the blood with miasma-producing contact poison, and the beard hairs with adamantine strands...

Make sure the dwarves are immune to any syndrome produced by that blood, or your tantrum spirals will become tantrum plunges.

Boiling needs to be 1, so that it can catch on fire before boiling.

Boiling needs to be 1, so that it can catch on fire before boiling.
For added points, add an inhaled or on-contact syndrome of some kind to it.
