Triage, can you see anything - or anyone - near us on the map?
Be on the ready for an attack.  Knife in the dominant hand, gun in the off hand, try to act first if anyone approaches.  If attacked choose the most exposed enemy and run at him firing, finish him with the knife.

My first RTD was five turns long, then I lost interest. If its still fun for you to run this then go ahead since we really like this RTD, if not then feel free to drop it and do something else.
