more elf killing potential

so, now that there is ingestion syndromes, and elfs eat dead people, can we make it so that consumption of dwarf or human flesh causes spontaneouss explosion of elf?

HELL YEAH!

Or better yet, make them transform into an elf murdering dwarf that shoots magma on the full moon! Then they'll all kill eachother  ;D

Hmm...
1. Capture elf
2. Infect elf with lycanthopy without killing it (tricky, but can probably be done)
3. Chain elf near fortress entrance
4. More elves arrive
5. Elf eats other elves

Hmm...
1. Capture elf
2. Infect elf with lycanthopy without killing it (tricky, but can probably be done)
3. Chain elf near fortress entrance
4. More elves arrive
5. Elf eats other elves
Chain an infected to a spot in a small hallway that has a dead end (Chain the infected in the middle!).

Put elf on dead end side from above.

Profit!

place 1 infected elf in the corner of a LARGE room with buildings and/or cover and place 30 elves (uninfected) into the opposite corner of the room. release the infected and uninfected elves at the same time. left 4 elf?

except the elves. but who really gives a shit about elves? they fuss over WOOD! it GROWS BACK!!!! the morons.
EDIT: had a great idea, once it's finished, flood the entire room with magma, then lock the surviving were-dwarves in cages and only release them when they become magma breathing dwarves.
But then you'd be killing magma shooting dwarves!

The other elves would probably consider it normal and keep going while being eaten.

Forgotten Beasts seem to be akin to Toady playing Dwarven Roulette with your fortress, as they can be anything from harmless giant worms made of mud to necrotic-gas spewing nigh-invunerable iron hydras of doom.
